Serving as a centralized assistance agency for the Slidell/Pearl River area, Community Christian Concern (CCC) is dedicated to helping individuals and families in meeting their emergency needs. With a mission to “touch one life at a time”, CCC offers hope and guidance through a variety of assistance services and programs. Through CCC, individuals are paired with trained counselors to discuss and assess their request for emergency assistance. Based on their need, CCC provides clients with a variety of short-term solutions to meet their critical needs. These solutions include the following services:

Food & Clothing Assistance
Prescription Assistance
Household Items
Emergency Travel Assistance
Homelessness Assistance

CCC counselors may also provide clients with a variety of counseling services as well as referrals, advocacy and linkages to other local agencies and providers.

In addition to offering emergency services to those in need, CCC also operates a thrift store that is open to the public and provides quality clothing at an affordable price and a men’s transitional housing program that gives men the opportunity to rebuild their lives and fosters hope for a better future.
