There's a chance that you or someone that you know may be in need of a warm place. With low temperatures and a chance of snow, many organizations throughout the Atlanta area can help with shelter and heating assistance. The Atlanta Union Mission has been providing food and shelter to the homeless in Atlanta for 70 years. They offer emergency shelter and transitional housing at six different centers. United Way 2-1-1, which links callers from several counties to available resources in their communities, can connect you to other organizations which offer housing and heating assistance.
