Six Agencies, One Mission - Wesley House Community Center

I was doing some research on disability assistance programs in the Mississippi area and I came across an amazing website, the Wesley House Community Center . I found it to be very detailed and informative. They have six different agencies all with the same mission; to assist underprivileged, neglected, and abused persons offering them education, community welfare and social services. Basically helping people learn to help themselves. Listed below are the agencies and the programs that they offer: Education: Computer Lab training, Elementary Tutoring, Public Awareness, Child Abuse Prevention Health Care: Disability Assistance Program, Doctor Referrals, In-house Health and Fitness, Free Lab Work, Free Medicine, Eye Exams Community: Food Bank, Storage Center, Parenting Courses, Christmas Ministry, Scouting Programs Victim Services: Sexual Assault Crisis Center, Child Advocacy Center, Pediatric Sane Exam, Therapy Groups Christian Relief: Emergency Assistance, Life Skills Courses Connectional: Fine Arts, Volunteer Mentor Program, "Kids Manna (nutrition) For more information on the agencies and services offered by the Wesley House visit www.wesleyhousemeridian.com or stop by and talk to someone in person.
