Meals On Wheels

Thanksgiving is just around the corner and the Police Departments of Biloxi, D'Iberville, Harrison County and Gulfport are preparing for that special day in which families come together to give thanks. Each year the Police Department prepares and package meals for those in need of a good meal. If you or someone you know is in need of a hot meal contact your local Police Department to request a meal: Biloxi Police Department: (228) 435-6133 D'Iberville Police Department: (228) 396-4252 Gulfport Police Department: (228) 868-5703 Harrison County Sheriff Department: (228) 896-0606 The deadline to make a meal request is Wednesday, November 17. Meals are available for pick up or delivery. Volunteers are needed to help prepare and package the meals at the Harrison County Sheriff's Work Center Cafeteria in Gulfport starting at 8:30AM on Thursday, November 25. Those who will be delivering the meals should report to the work center at 9am on Thursday, November 25. Donations can be made out to the Harrison County Volunteers to Feed the Needy.
