Holiday Wishlist!

Thanksgiving has quickly come and gone. Now Christmas will be here in less than 30 days. Due to the economy, unforeseen situations, a disability or an illness, some families may not have the means to provide their little ones with gifts this year. Through its Holiday Wish List program, the Homeless Families Foundation (HFF) strives to help families enjoy their holidays despite their financial situations. Over the past years, HFF has established a Wish List for families within their community. With the items received through the wish list, HFF is able to set up a Holiday Gift Store where parents can shop and choose free Christmas gifts for their families. Items on the wish list include new clothing, Fisher Price toys, Lego's, board games, books and other great gifts. The Holiday Gift Store provides gifts for children ranging in age from newborns to those who are 18. The Homeless Families Foundation is a family shelter in Columbus, OH that provides support services for homeless families and an extensive tutoring and enrichment program for at-risk school aged children.ess families. HFF operates two emergency shelter sites that include 32 townhouses and 12 efficiency apartments for families in need of shelter. Each shelter unit is furnished with all the basic necessities including bedding, furniture, dishes, cookware and a starter food basket.
