Metro Assistance Program
Through their Metro Assistance Program, the First Baptist Church of Jackson (FBCJ) provides area residents with assistance to meet their basic essential needs. The mission of FBCJ and the Metro Assistance Program is connecting people and transforming lives. Assistance generally includes food and limited financial assistance for utilities. FCBJ's Metro Assistance Program also provides individuals with referrals to other local agencies within the Jackson area that offer help with dental care, clothing, housing, gas and sometimes even counseling and ongoing education. The Metro Assistance Program is open every Tuesday from 1pm to 3pm on the 2nd Floor of the Welcome Center at First Baptist Church of Jackson. FBCJ is located downtown across from the State Capitol at 431 North State Street. If you would like more information about the Metro Assistance Program or to request assistance for you and your family, call 601-949-1932.
