Charitable Pharmacy Helps Those in Need
Here's a program that may be helpful to those in the Cincinnati, OH area in need of medicine assistance:
Since 2006 the St. Vincent de Paul Charitable Pharmacy has been providing professional pharmaceutical care to those who can't afford their prescription medications. In 2010 the Charitable Pharmacy filled nearly 80,000 prescriptions for those in need. That's a total estimated retail value of more than $80 million! Along with Hamilton County, the pharmacy also serves those in Butler, Clermont, and Warren counties. The Charitable Pharmacy is open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays each week. Approximately 12 new clients are taken each day. Clients are able to get up to six months of prescription coverage. For more information about this program, please call (513) 562-8841 ext. 230. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul also has programs for homelessness prevention, gives home visits to those in need and food pantries. Contact them today for more information!
