The 11th is Don’t Cry Over Spilled Milk Day.
The 17th is National Random Acts of Kindness Day.
The 20th is National Love Your Pet Day.
The 28th is National Public Sleeping Day.

What do all of these days have in common? The activity they recognize can be relaxing. Each action can provide a way of releasing tension and stress.

noFive Reasons People Lose their Disability Appeals

Some Social Security disability benefits appeals at the Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) level are denied for some very simple reasons. Currently only about 50% of disability appeals are won during the appeal before and ALJ. Before an appeal gets to this stage in the application process, the initial application was denied and it has also been reviewed once more for correctness and denied a second time. Although there are more appeals available should the ALJ also deny benefits, this appeal is extremely important because this is the first time that the applicant has had the opportunity to personally plead their cause and it is also the only level that has about a 50% win ratio making it the most likely level to be approved. But wait, I am a healthy specimen. Except for a required physical exam this year, I have not been to the doctor in years. I’m not disabled. But every very long day I live with a disability- my spouse.
